KNOW HOW IT WORKS
? |
|
SWASTIK POWER INVERTERS / UPS
operates on Lead Acid
Batteries. When mains power fails SPI / SPU instantly draw power from
batteries and supplies to utilities. As soon as power is reinstated
SPI / SPU stops drawing power from batteries and starts recharging
them. All these actions take place automatically.
|
|
APPLICATION :
|
SWASTIK POWER INVERTERS / UPS can be used
at residence, Offices, Banks, Classes, Show rooms, Shops,
Hospitals, Laboratories, Hotels etc.
|
|

INDICATION |
CHECK UP |
|
MAINS PRESENT
BUT NO POWER AT OUTPUT |
| Green
LED of mains is off |
Check the input
switch on wall gang box, it must be on
position
|
| Green
LED of mains on |
Check
the output fuse on backside & ensure that output
plug is tight. |
|
MAINS FAIL BUT
NO POWER AT OUTPUT |
| Red
LED of the Inverter is off |
Check the position of ON/OFF LED on front panel. It
must be in ON position. |
| None
of LED glows |
Check the connection of the battery & the link wires
between two batteries. If they are corroded then clean
them with hot water & make sure of tight contact. |
|
Overload LED glows |
Reduce the load at output by switching off the switches
of appliances. Check whether SPI output is connected to
heavy load like Toaster, Hair Dryer, Refrigerator, Heater,
Iron etc. If found disconnect them. |
|
Battery low LED is on |
Press the reset switch. If battery low indicator is still on,
check the connection of battery & link wires between
two batteries. If they are corroded clean them with hot
water, be sure that nut-bolts are tight. |
|
MAIN PRESENT BUT CHARGING
INDICATOR OFF |
Yellow LED (Charging indicator) does not glow after
battery is used. |
Check the
connection of battery & link wires.
The Yellow LED (charging indicator) is off, if mains
voltage
is too low and battery is not being charged by
SPI... |
